Death Cab For Cutie, The Black Keys [ tickets ] and Galactic [ tickets ] will be among the acts performing at the 2009 Superfly During Jazzfest concert series to be held April 24-May 2 at several New Orleans venues, according to a press release.

The 13th annual concert series continues the tradition of presenting special collaborations and unique bills. This year, The Funky Meters will be joined by Cyril Neville for a show with Robert Randolph and the Family Band. Galactic will perform aboard the Riverboat Creole Queen with special guests Walter "Wolfman" Washington, Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews and Big Sam.

The variety of artists, including Michael Franti, Garage a Trois and Kirk Joseph's 504 Brass Band, will perform in the evenings at several NOLA venues, including the Contemporary Arts Center and the previously mentioned Riverboat.

The Superfly During Jazzfest concert series, which began in 1997 to fulfill a demand for nighttime music during the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, will offer fans unique VIP Fan Experience Ticket Packages via a new multi-year partnership with StubHub.

The VIP packages will include special artist meet-and-greets, photo opportunities, VIP viewing areas, signed artist memorabilia and more. Proceeds from these package sales will benefit The New Orleans Musician's Clinic and Common Ground Relief charity.
