Daughtry kicks off 13th annual Red Kettle campaign

Daughtry will will kick off The Salvation Army's 2009 Red Kettle Christmas campaign with a halftime performance during the Dallas Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game, according to a press release. The game--against the Oakland Raiders--will be held at the new, $1.2 million Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX.

The Cowboys' Thanksgiving Day game halftime show officially has launched The Salvation Army's national benefit drive for the past 12 years. Last year's campaign raised a record $130 million.
