Taylor Swift firms up 'Fearless' spring outing

Following the recent completion of the first leg of her "Fearless" tour, Taylor Swift has confirmed the dates and venues for the spring segment of the run behind her award-winning sophomore album.

After an Australian excursion in February, the pop-country songstress will return to the States for the 38-date trek, which kicks off March 4 in Tampa and runs through a June 2 performance in Washington, DC. Several two-night stands are on the books, including March 18-19 in Philadelphia and April 15-16 in Los Angeles. The full schedule is below.

Tickets for most shows already have hit the market. The first batch of dates reportedly sold out quickly last weekend, and tickets for several additional shows went on sale today (10/30).

The 19-year-old performer, who is the youngest artist in history to be nominated for the CMA's Entertainer of the Year Award, released her second studio set, "Fearless," last fall. The record spent 11 weeks atop The Billboard 200, making it the 10th longest-running No. 1 album in the history of the chart, and setting a record for the most weeks at the top for a female country artist.

Like her 2006 multi-platinum debut, Swift wrote or co-wrote every song on "Fearless," including seven tracks she penned by herself. She is the first female artist in country music history to take a writing credit on every song of a platinum-selling debut.

In April, Swift took home Album of the Year honors for "Fearless" at the 44th Academy of Country Music Awards show in Las Vegas. She was also awarded the Crystal Milestone Award, given for "outstanding achievement in country music."

Last year, Swift performed alongside Def Leppard at the CMT Awards ceremony. The show proved so popular, the CMT network partnered with the performer's label to release the first-ever "Crossroads" DVD, entitled "CMT Crossroads: Taylor Swift and Def Leppard." The live set, which also features interviews with the artists, is available exclusively at Walmart and Sam's Club locations.
